SOCRATES/ERASMUS PROJECT
ERASMUS NEWS
Erasmus/LLP is the European Action programme based on the Learning matter and on the articles 149 and 150 of the European Union Treaty. In the article 149, it is in fact established that, the Community, contributes to the Learning development through a close collaboration with the countries members. Socrates action for the high – school learning, called Erasmus/LLP, intend to enforce the quality and the more European dimension, stimulating the international cooperation between the academies.
General objectives are:
development of the teaching European dimension, in order to consolidate the European citizenship;
promotion of a better knowledge of the European languages, in order to enforce the comprehension and the solidarity between peoples that constitute it;
promotion of the cooperation between the academies and students and teachers mobility;
promotion of the academic recognition of the abroad study periods and of the eventual obtained diplomas.
The programme has not only a study objective but also a life abroad one. This means the total experience lived by students during their permanence in other European academies, to become a more complete European citizen, in contact with different cultures, languages, way to study and work.
The Academy of fine Arts in Brescia SantaGiulia, takes part of ERASMUS/LLP project, that foresees students exchanges for a minimum of three months up to a maximum of twelve.
We consider fundamental that, from the first moment of students academic apprenticeship, future artists and teachers in artistic subjects, prepare themselves to meet other European countries art and culture. It is very important for us, that our students might have a deep contact with other countries way of life. At the moment, we have established a bilateral agreement with the FINE ARTS ACADEMY IN SALAMANCA, Spain, but it is in our best intentions for the academic year 2007/2008 to start new ones with other Erasmus/LLP institutions.
