European Researchers' Night: the meetings proposed by Accademia SantaGiulia

What is the European Researchers' Night?

An initiative promoted by the European Commission since 2005, involving every year thousands of researchers and research institutions in all European countries with the aim of creating opportunities for researchers and citizens to meet to spread the scientific culture and knowledge of research professions in an informal context and challenging. 

For years Accademia SantaGiulia has taken part in the event with in-depth meetings and events dedicated to high school students and with the aim of highlighting the artistic and educational research that distinguishes it.

What are the activities organized by Accademia SantaGiulia for the 2022 edition?
From 10am to 1pm In-depth meetings for Higher Institutes

• at 10am in presence at the Liceo scientifico statale Annibale Calini in Brescia (Via Monte Suello 2) and online
  "Liceo Calini and Accademia SantaGiulia together for the video of the Book Trailer Film Festival"
  From word to image: the collaboration between the two realities and the special project of PCTO that led to the realization of the commercial for the Book Trailer Film Festival, told by the protagonists.
   
• at 12am online
  "When digital experimentation becomes artistic research: the story of inside my laptop"
  A journey through the history of the Net art exhibition of Accademia SantaGiulia and a virtual visit of the last two editions, waiting for the tenth edition (2023).

From 14.30 to 18.00 we will be present at the Diocesan Museum of Brescia
Come and discover the world of Accademia SantaGiulia: we will tell you how artistic research and educational projects are at the center of the training of our students and we will accompany you in the virtual visit of the last two editions of the exhibition of Net Art "Inside My Laptop".

The meetings are open both to individual students interested in learning more about the world of Accademia SantaGiulia, and to the classes of the Higher Institutes and their teachers.
