Characteristics of the course of study
Designing an efficient, pleasant, and innovative environment. The Bachelor's Degree in Decoration – Interior Design provides the cultural knowledge and specific skills needed to work in the field of interior design. The first year of study, shared with the Artistic Decoration course, includes a series of subjects that, in building the pathway, place the student in relation to the decorative abilities that every interior designer trained in an academic environment should possess: materials, drawing, and artistic anatomy, understood as the ergonomics of humans within their environment, are some of the skills that will allow the student to approach the subsequent years of the program, the courses, and the numerous projects proposed within them, following not only artistic taste but also the practicality required for each environment to be comfortable to live in. The student will be able to create spaces considering their final use through a conscious study of light, furniture, colors, and the fundamental structural elements for these purposes.

Course Goals
The Interior Design course ensures the skills and knowledge needed to train professionals working in the field of interior design, based on mastery of methods, materials, and artistic techniques, as well as on adequate knowledge and practice of design methodologies concerning the consistent and up-to-date use of visual representation tools and decorative intervention in public and private contexts. To this end, skills are developed in the creative use of materials for artistic practice, in the use of technical tools for surveying and architectural drawing, and in visual representation, with a specific focus on the aesthetic management of space and the design of environments. The institution's strong ties with companies operating in the local sector will also enable experimental collaborations for the creation and management of spaces related to different meanings of living, while maintaining a constant link between tradition and innovation.
