Characteristics of the course of study

The second level degree in Graphics and Communication starts with an idea to create a complete communication strategy.
The Graphics and Communication course enhances the development and image reworking skills, strengthening skills and knowledge destined to train professional figures capable of thinking and managing an absolute communication path: from design to implementation to multi-channel communication. The specialist course also includes training for the creation of motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) in the two years: from animated infographics to commercials with fantastical elements, up to the creation of clips and animated GIFs for social media; for this reason, the course also includes parts of video production, editing, editorial design and the phenomenological study of the contemporary image that is realized in the totality of communicative expressions and through different channels.

Course Goals

The course in Graphics and Communication aims to create a professional able to move in graphics and communication through theoretical and practical knowledge and skills of creative production, image reading, visual culture, strategic storytelling, and all-around design of editorial and multimedia graphic products. For this reason, the two-year specialist course includes strengthening both graphic and communication and technical marketing skills, which allow the professional to manage a project both in its implementation and effective communication through contemporary multi-platform channels. The working environment in which the professional will have to enter, in fact, increasingly requires transversal skills that allow him to have an overview of the project he should deal with.

The professional profile coming out of the Graphics and Communication Course is of an Image & Communication manager able to create communication strategies that include graphic design and communication. The Art director leaving the specialist course can propose complete projects: from creating logos to using images and texts useful for the web and the advertising world or communication agencies. The professional will be able to work in the company with a managerial profile in the advertising graphics and communication sector and offer himself as a consultant for communication and image and brand specialists.
