Accademia SantaGiulia is proud to take part in the 9th edition of the Brescia Photo Festival, taking place from March 26th to 29th, 2026—an event entirely dedicated to photography as a way to explore and interpret the present.
For four days, the city of Brescia will turn into a creative hub with exhibitions, talks, screenings, and events open to artists, students, and the public.
As part of the festival, on Friday, March 27th at 2:00 PM, Accademia SantaGiulia will host the presentation of the exhibition “Oltre. Scenarios of a Changing City”. The project is developed by first-year students of the Master’s program in Art Communication and Education.
Curated by lecturers Camilla Remondina and Beatrice Ravelli, with scientific coordination by Massimo Tantardini, the exhibition is based on an open call involving current students and alumni (from 2018/2019 onwards). It explores how the city of Brescia is changing through contemporary visual languages—from photography and video to installations, graphic and visual design, including experimental approaches using artificial intelligence.
The presentation will be a preview of the official exhibition opening, scheduled for May 16th, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Cavallerizza – Italian Centre for Photography, where the exhibition will be open to visitors until June 14th, 2026.
