From March 27th to 29th, 2026, second-year undergraduate students from the School of Painting at Accademia SantaGiulia will take part in the 23rd edition of Vernice Art Fair, held at the Forlì Exhibition Centre.

The group, guided by lecturer Mauro Pipani (Painting II course), will present a series of works inspired by the theme “The Silence of Ruins”.

Rather than a traditional group show, the project unfolds as a constellation of independent artworks—each one shaped by a distinct visual language and personal artistic vision. The works explore ruins as traces of memory, as spaces for reflection on time and transformation. Within this silent landscape, young artists investigate themes of absence, reconstruction, and imagination.

On Sunday, one of the participants will be selected for a special prize, awarding a solo exhibition stand at the next edition of Vernice Art Fair.

Last year, the award for Best Contemporary Research was given to Nicole Alessandra Pigna for her work Tarok. This year, she returns to the fair with her own dedicated stand.
