“Ad Occhi Chiusi, sei storie senza paura” Text & Illustrations by Maria Di Lisciandro
Accademia SantaGiulia opens the door to the future of visual storytelling with the official presentation of its new Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration & Comics.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 1st at 2:00 PM at our campus in Brescia (Via Tommaseo 49). After an initial session open to the press, the presentation will continue with an in-depth overview of the course, its goals, and career opportunities.
Two lecturers from Accademia SantaGiulia will join the event:
- AntonGionata Ferrari, comic artist and illustrator working in children’s publishing
- Francesca Follini, comic artist and illustrator specializing in graphic novels
The Illustration & Comics program (currently pending official approval) combines artistic tradition with digital innovation, preparing students for careers in publishing, graphic novels, and contemporary visual communication. The course blends theory and hands-on workshops, with a strong focus on developing a personal style and understanding the creative industry.
