Characteristics of the course of study
Turn your passion for drawing into a professional career. The Illustration and Comics degree gives you the tools to create powerful visual stories, from illustration to graphic novels.
You will develop your own style while learning how to combine traditional drawing, illustration techniques, and digital tools. The programme blends creativity and critical thinking, helping you understand how the world of comics, publishing, and visual culture really works.
Classes are hands-on and project-based. You will work on real creative projects while studying subjects such as Digital Storytelling, Digital Art, Illustration Design, Children’s Literature and Illustration, Visual Culture, and History of Comics. You will explore both analogue and digital techniques and gain insight into the publishing industry — a fast-growing field looking for original and skilled creatives.

Course Goals
This programme prepares you to become a professional illustrator or comic artist, ready to work in today’s creative industries.
You will build strong drawing and visual storytelling skills, learning how to turn ideas into images and narratives. At the same time, you will learn how to combine traditional techniques with digital tools.
The course also helps you understand the art world and visual communication, so you can develop your own creative voice and apply it in different professional contexts.
