Since March 20, 2017 and for two weeks, the Professor Amedeo Beretta, professor in the chair for the course of Animation Techniques Digital, will hold an intensive workshop for the students of the second year of the Art and New Technologies, on digital animation.
The instructional design of this course has been specially designed to the organization of an intensive workshop of 40 hours with the use of the Maya program, to deal with students one of the most complex and fundamental issues of the animation: bipedal locomotion (running/walking).
Thanks to constant confrontation with the teacher in the planning stage, the management has managed to outline the individual lessons that will have as main objective to allow work in the student addressing the various stages that lead to the development of the animation project. In this way, the student professional today tomorrow, will have the opportunity to work with one of the most important digital animators in the international scene, with a view to learning the result of continuous comparisons with the professional in the chair.
Amedeo Beretta currently works as a Programme Leader for Digital Animation and VFX with MET Film School in London, and is a Visiting Tutor at SAE Institute, also in London.
He has more than 14 years of experience in CG animation. In recent years he has covered different roles in the field of computer animation for a number of projects of various kinds such as TV series, films Live Action with integration of VFX, CG animated feature films, TV commercials, video games and architectural visualization.
Amedeo worked as Animation Supervisor / Supervising Animator with skills from 2D / 3D CG Generalist in Animation, Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Shading, rendering and compositing.
