You have certainly heard of videos on the net which, through graphs, make it possible to understand the spread of the epidemic from Covid-19 in Italy, and predict its progress.
If you have heard of it, you already know Paolo Zanzottera, teacher of the SantaGiulia Academy, digital scientist and video maker.
Since the success of the videos (millions of views on Facebook), Professor Zanzottera developed the mrSIR project, a multi-regional forecasting model to predict the evolution of the pandemic.
Paolo Zanzottera is supported by his colleague, Giordana Francini, former professor at the SantaGiulia Academy, the student Lisa Negrini (Graphics and Communication) and former students Diego Lussu and Davide Gelatti (Web and Corporate Communication) who work on the project as well.
It is possible to support the project. The donation will help to cover the cost of the tools that the development team needs to research and disseminate free and impartial information on the progress of this pandemic.
